version ONE: Movember Milo Miles
Run 1 mile [or more] 1st Nov / 2 miles [or more] 2nd Nov / 3 miles [or more] 3rd Nov … all the way up to 30 miles [or more] on the 30th November. A minimum of 465 miles in the 30 days is needed to complete the challenge successfully.
version TWO: Movember Milo Metres
Run 1 kilometre [or more] 1st Nov / 2 kilometres [or more] 2nd Nov / 3 kilometres [or more] 3rd Nov … all the way up to 30 kilometres [or more] on the 30th November. A minimum of 465 kilometres in the 30 days is needed to complete the challenge successfully.
Each day’s distance can be spilt as desired. ie Day 30, the complete distance in one go, or in two runs of 15, or three runs of 10, or a 15 and a 10 and a 5 etc etc. Not fit enough yet? Then try this starter challenge.
If on any day you miss the target distance [whether miles or kilometres] you simply count that day as another DAY ONE [assuming you actually ran if not the next day is again day one] and start again the next day with TWO and then continue. You can do this as many times as you wish/need to.
Example: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, missed day, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, missed day, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, missed, 1, 2, 3, [highest score 10]
At the end of the month you will hopefully have run for 30 days continuously. If you fully complete either of the main MMM challenges [ie 1 through to 30] you will probably have run farther in a month than you have ever done before/thought possible.
The challenges can be used to raise money for the excellent Movember charity if so desired.
