So, finished the year on a pitiful 1012 miles total. From a high of achievement in 2016 to a pretty non starter 2017. Here’s to a better 2018.
Announcing the late running of the one year Mile Challenge. How fast can I get in 12 months if I try to concentrate on the 1 Mile distance? In terms of age grading I now only need to get to around 5 minutes 30 seconds to be at National Level.
First thing is to lose some weight. And of course run more often. A completely different type of training though. It will however build lots of strength for a return to longer distance challenges in 2019. Sometimes you simply need to build challenges around other life commitments and obligations.
