You look at something like 1,000 days and it seems forever, then suddenly in another 50 days that will be the TDC over and the next bigger challenge started; such is life.
This next running phase of my life will last 1,310 days [just over 3 1/2 years!] till the big final target challenge.
- Phase One: Speed and strength.
Emphasis the Mile, steps, gym and weight carry.
- Phase Two: Strength and stamina.
Emphasis hills, weight carry and a 50 mile multi-day period.
- Phase three: Strength and stamina.
Emphasis hills, weight carry and a 70 mile multi-day period.
Aim by mid 2020
- A 60 mile multi-day at speed attempt.
Big plans but one has to aim high.
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

Seven miles today, including a 1 mile ‘time trial’. Strange to be back to such a short effort. Good to have a line in the sand [6.11]. Not as bad as expected. Core strength weakness, which will be addressed in 2017.
