So, fleshing out the bucket list of events for the next two/three years, so as to build up to the next really big challenge, I am struck by how much I would like to do but how little time there is to do them as quality; given that longer events take a while to recover from.
With next year planned as a short distance year working on speed and strength [as work will only allow that time for training] with perhaps just a couple of ‘get around’ marathons for fun thrown in, I realise how hard it is going to be already to stick to that plan. How will I be able to force myself to run so short!?
