A little potter around [buying thermal gloves, nibbles, etc] to stretch the legs. Tomorrow is still looking like it will be very cold [barely above zero]. I think freezing toes/feet is likely to be the biggest issue to deal with considering that apparently there are some ankle deep blocked roads on the course. At least the cold will tend to keep you moving forward; not wanting to stop too long to get really chilly.
The good news is that the anticipated sleet/snow seems to be off the cards, the wind is dropping and the direction should hopefully be from behind during the run, it should be sunny despite the cold.
I tried jogging with thin fleece top below my windcheater this morning and it was boiling after only a couple of miles, so tomorrow’s attire will be a tricky one to figure out.
Now to pack up all my bits, charge headtorch, phone, watch, pile in the calories and then try some serious feet up relaxing.
