So looking a little at my monthly running stats it is easy to see how things have collapsed for several months now [270 miles down to 120]. I will have to slowly try to build up again over the next six weeks till the Snowdonia Marathon [which will have to be treated as merely a tourist jog] and then into the crazy Movember challenge again in November. I still hope to get to at least 3,000 miles for this year [currently just under 2,000 miles].
Today 10 miles slow in bits, including 4 miles with evening Run England group. So getting back to it carefully. It will probably start with a fair amount of jog/walking [ie numerous little walk breaks, which is a ‘secret’ tip to upping mileage more rapidly].
